I really think PCLinuxOS is the best linux distribution on the earth. Just like its announcement “radically simply”, it’s simple, rich software embedded, low resource usage etc. Although  Ubuntu is most popular now, I believe PClinuxOS will  win the competition.

Because of my KDE’s upgrade, my laptop could not enter the desktop. I must reinstall the PCLinuxOS. It’s Just take less than one hour to install PCLOS. After that, I would make it support Chinese display and Chinese input. The following packages would be installed,

1.kde-i18n-zh_CN
2.font-tty-chinese
3.x11-font-wqy-bitmapfont
4.fcitx

and then added the following lines to /etc/sysconfig/i18n

LC_ALL=zh_CN.GB2312
LANG=zh_CN.GB2312

export LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.GB2312
export XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx
export XIM=fcitx
export XIM_PROGRAM=fcitx

through that, simple Chinese character could be displayed in KDE environment and FCITX could be used to input Chinese.

PS: I am glad to upgrade my kernel from 2.6.18 to 2.6.25 successfully, now my kernel can support CPU throttling, timer tickless.
